WIP Wednesday: Oak Leaves

I am beginning to feel autumn in the air and my poly clay work is starting to show it...

I pieced together these brown and russet oak leaves for earrings and pendants, thought it might be an interesting look. Now to embellish with some semi-precious gemstones-- jasper? tiger's eye?-- and add some swirly, viney details.

Even some swarovski (or however you spell that!) crystals would be cute. A couple right down the middle!

Your oak leaves are perfect, Dawn. You know my mother's surname is Carvalho, meaning oak, right? The reason I wanted that candle holder so much! Love it on my altar...

Kisses!
